At Chungo Creek we accommodate all riding abilities and all ages. We offer different adventures to suit every taste and level of experience.
From hourly and daily rides to multiple day trips. For other gatherings and events, we will do wagon rides and sleigh rides in the winter.
We also partner with a few businesses in the area, bringing the adventure of horses to them. Chungo Creek can also play host to your corporate get-aways.
Space is available for your own horse for a fee, following prior arrangements with Chungo Creek. Feed not included.
Hourly and Day Rides
Starting out from our cabins first with an informative introduction to western riding and horse safety, take a ride through the beautiful forest along both the Blackstone and Wapiabi rivers. Perfect for a relaxing trail riding experience.
Rates
*** Rides may be tailored according to availability
*** Day Rides (6+ hours), $250.00 person/day—Includes lunch.
- $70.00 per person for 1 hour
- $100.00 per person for 2 hours
- $120.00 per person for 3 hours
Meal Options
Meals can be arranged at the cabins at the following rates:
- Lunch $20.00 per person
- Steak supper $40.00 per person
Multiple Day Trips
For those who are looking for more, we offer a true Alberta experience inside the mountain range. Mount up and follow us into one of our back-country camps. While in the mountains you can enjoy activities such as riding, hiking, fishing, wildlife or just plain relaxing. There is also plenty of campfire action as well.

*** Canvas wall tent accommodations will be provided along with all meals. Longer trips available upon request.
- Children (under 14 years of age) are $250.00/day
- Overnight (2 days): $800.00
- Two Nights (3 days): $1100.00
- Three Nights (4 days): $1450.00

- 10 people or more receive 10% discount.
- 5 days or more receive 5% discount.
- Transportation to and from Cabins is available at $0.60/km.
